With direct access to one of Sri Lanka's most beautiful beaches and close proximity to the ancient Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this exquisite beachfront property was created by one of the country's leading architects, Jayatillaka Sumangala. Three ensuite double bedrooms with sea views, a big living space with an open-concept kitchen, and a dining pavilion are all featured in this well decorated, secluded, and peaceful home. Additionally, the home boasts a sizable 55 by 15-foot infinity pool set in a stunning tropical garden.
Our freshly constructed beach house is situated in a way that provides expansive views of the Indian Ocean. Located on a stunning mile-long beach that is renowned for the turtles that lay their eggs there at night.
The home, features a vast living room, three roomy double bedrooms, and a dining pavilion that all face the ocean and are connected by a full-length terrace that leads to the swimming pool and garden. The property has a cook, houseman, night watchman, and laundry lady on duty. Throughout your visit, the staff will take care of all of your needs. Send us an email if you have any questions. I don’t usually visit the same place twice but this patch of paradise is now the only exception. I simply had to take my wife I married last year who hasn’t been, it truly is the most wonderful place, it’s like a private health and wellness spa; we felt like we were on our honeymoon and it’s incredibly quiet - I hope it stays this hidden for a long time, we had the beach pretty much all to ourselves and it is the most stunning beach; the sunsets are unlike any other I’ve seen as the golden hues spread over the horizon when the sun melts into the sea - bliss! Our stay was guaranteed max comfort throughout by Ruan, Sanjeeva & team who cooked for us whatever we wanted each day & it was delicious, kept the place clean and helped us organise our days when we needed it. They were very discreet, take pride in what they do and have an infectious aura of chill. I met them last time I visited, 5 years ago, so I was very please to see them again, they’re clearly dedicated and know the place well. There’s also so much on the doorstep from Samudra from releasing baby turtles into the sea and swimming with adult turtles to antique shops and tea plantations higher up in the hills. Though it is quiet, you can walk about 20 minutes down the beach to some nice bars or surf. Thanks so much for creating this patch of paradise.

The Samudra Beach House is one of the most beautiful places you will find along the coast in the South of Sri Lanka. It is tastefully decorated and is the perfect holiday villa for a beach getaway with the family or friends. The Staff and Villa Manager are also really friendly and helpful. They made sure we had a comfortable stay and assisted us whenever we needed anything. The villa has an amazing Chef as well who prepared well-balanced and flavourful meals. Some of these menu items included Baked Crab and Prawns in Butter Garlic Sauce. We definitely looked forward to every meal! We cannot wait to visit the Villa again and we look forward to another peaceful, relaxing and beautiful time in the South of Sri Lanka.

The villa itself is in a prime location on a beautiful beach kept in very good condition which was never busy, this really added to the enjoyment of being able to step out of the garden and onto a stunning beach with crystal clear waters. The quality of the villa was fantastic with breathtaking views from the garden and pool and the living area was a great place to relax and work. Aruna (the chef) is a wonderful cook and made some amazing meals which were all the better while being able to enjoy
